Description

Do parents come to you labelling their children as Manipulative, Out-of-Control, Disobedient, or Shut Down?

Believe it or not, you don’t need superhero powers to see the vulnerable, dysregulated child within.

This workshop will offer practical, fun, and immediately useful play therapy interventions for engaging the family in treatment planning and goal setting, augmenting adaptive coping, enhancing the healthy attachment between parent and child, help shift paradigms around problematic child behaviours and powerfully explain the stress response system.

Interventions for helping clients practice anger management, expand their emotional literacy, practice pro-social skills with family and friends, address their problematic thought life, and increase coherence in their narratives around hard things that have happened.
