Belfast has a tragic legacy of trauma from the ‘Troubles’. Trauma goes down the generations and affects the whole family. As a result, we have the highest suicide rate in the UK and the worst mental health statistics. Trauma also affects a great many other people and in many different ways, leading to illness, addictions, depression, rage and aggression. However trauma is an injury, not an illness and can be successfully healed.

This Summit Conference is for professionals who deal with trauma and its consequences and anyone else with a particular interest in learning about trauma. It draws together experts from across the world and will bring you up to date with the latest statistics, thinking and healing techniques.
